I agree that the idea was not a good one.
My point was that it did not happen on this board, {only in the "parallel universe"}, and that a very nice thing had been done previously by this villa owner, who advertises on this board.
IMHO it was an equally not nice thing to do to bring it to this board.
Now, I plan to marinate myself tonight in Cruzan Coconut while I prepare my chicken thighs with Voodoo Blackening Spice and Lime. Afterwards, I shall pull up the PDF of the Tradewinds and study the crime statisitics.

I'm actually the Brother-in-Law of the owner. We are business partners, but not partners in the Villa. I am headed down to stay at their place and yes at times have paid to stay there (yes, I usually get a nice discount). And yes I do think highly of the place and post often in support of their place.
Sorry I wasn't more straight forward.

I do actually enjoy this board and reading people's comments. We all love St John, and that you can believe.

I'm sure no one on here has any conflicts of interest, are real estate agents, run rental agencies, or recommend their friend's businesses. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Yes we all recommend services but we do not promote ourselves by pretending to be someone else - that was a first in my experience.
