Since we have branched off to “stupid” questions, here are a few gems from when I was living on-island.
While waiting tables at JJ’s
“Can I buy a few plastic cups? We want to bring the different colors of ocean water back to the ship with us.”
Customer “How did you get here?”
Me: “The Ferry”
Customer: “No, really how did you get here”
Me: “Plane then ferry”
Customer “Oh come on you know what I mean”
Me: You’re right I am sorry. My Mom gave birth to me”

I think it's important to note here that while we do laugh and poke fun at these questions that come up over and over again, we all do still answer them graciously, with the knowledge that we were all once newbies too. I think that's one of the many things that makes this forum rock.

While sailing by a deserted island in the VI I was asked by a charter guest : If nobody lives there why did they put a beach there?
