Hi. I just talked to Rachel(she is very nice) and she said that the price was $20.00 per person to Red Hook. Does this price seem reasonable? What would a regular taxi cost to Red Hook? Thanks [/code]

Rachel is excellent and soooooo nice.
The normal taxi cost is $15.00 per person and you wait for the whole taxi to fill up and may do "drop off's" at hotels etc on the way. $20.00 is an excellent price.
$90.00 is a normal private taxi rate

We arrive on May 10th also and it would be great if we could share the taxi. Is the time you posted your arrival time in STT? Will you be checking bags? There will be 4 of us.

I'm not surprised that her price went up a bit given the fact that she will transport small parties. She has to make it worth her while. It's still super reasonable!

Our group of 4 used Rachel spring break week---$20 each + tip---we gave $90 total---we would call her again without question! And return trip

We took a taxi from the cruise ship docked at Crown Bay (CA) to the RH ferry last Friday. It was $11 per person, but it may be a bit more from the airport.

How do you find Rachel once you are there? Is she permitted where the other taxis line up? Does she hold a sign, so you can recognize her?
