Cheap option alert! I have baby fine hair that snarls like crazy when I swim. I just use the johnson and johnson hair detangler--I spray it in after getting out of the water, and the comb slides right through. You'll find it in the baby products aisle of the drugstore.

Don't forget the virtue of a hat for keeping the sun, wind and spray from ruining your locks (and keeping the sun off of your face, as well!).
