Also, pjayer, What makes you wish you had stayed at CTC this summer vs. the villa you stayed at? Thanks!

I'm just a little confused(not so unusual)! My take on Andrea's directions is that CTC is located just past Pastory Gardens and a left at the dumpster. Where do you go from there? That road leads down to Pastory Condos. Is it a sharp right past the dumpster and up that steep hill? I thought the home up there belonged to a former senator.

Turtlegirl, here's CTC's pool. There's an elevated driveway located on the other side of the wall. Beyond the driveway is part of Caneel Trail. It is possible the landscaping has matured enough since we were there last year that the view from the neighboring villa and Caneel Trail to CTC is blocked. If it's a big issue for you, you might see if the owner's on-island agent could give you some advise or send you some recent pictures. I can't remember his name right now, but he was a Realtor with John McCann and was very helpful while we were there. Is that who you are working with?
CTC. You can see the roof and four windows of Villa Tamarido in the right of the picture.
I think this is a shot of Villa Tamarindo from the pool deck. It's possible this may have been taken from the deck off the bedroom in the back of the house. In either case, I recall being able to see the neighboring villa from the pool. I could also hear the men talking and working on the retaining wall during the day. I'm sure that work is complete now.

The last picture was taken from the pool deck as you can see a cactus which was on a pot sitting on the wall around the pool.

CTC is newer and in much better condition than the villa we stayed in this year. The location and pool were great, but I wouldn't return.

Thanks, pjayer. You rock! We're renting right from Joe Moore, the owner. You don't have any bathroom pictures, do you? It's the only room they don't show on the website, so I'm wondering what it looks like. I know there's 2-one for each bedroom.

Hey. I recognize this place. We were just there in August. My wife took a bunch of pictures in hope of convincing a couple friends to get together and buy the place. Right!!! I'll try to post a few below. BTW, the trail was moved about 50 yards back from the house after the park realized it was on private property; there is now a small unmarked trail connecting the main trail to Caneel Trailside Cottage. O.K. any suggestions about how to post pictures.

These are pictures the TAD took last year. I didn't think to check them earlier today.
Shower One
Shower Two
You can see Villa Tamarindo in the background.
Road leading to driveway - not too bad.
And, I've saved the best for last. Here's the booty locked in the closet of the room where the girls who have skinny hands and small cameras stayed.
So, Turtlegirl, if you get an uncontrollable urge to eat junk food or clean in the middle of the night, just break down one of those doors and go for it.

Those pics. are too funny. I have very skinny wrists so I won't have to pack any Pringles!

We dealt directly with Joe Moore and he was absolutely great to work with. I would not hesitate to work with him again.
However, having said that, I sure hope Joe doesn't read this board or somebody is so busted!!
