I signed.

I agree with Ron. So sad, development of these islands is always on the side of the money holders.

Just signed.... I really hope this doesn't happen. But if it does hopefully Mother Nature will wipe out this dock like it did the dock they had there many years ago....

I noticed that the names of the Soggy Dollar's new owners were not on the petition. What say the O'Connells about this dock?

Perhaps there is more than just this internet petition.

Hopefully 3,000+ means something to them.

JT -

Was wondering the same thing as well.... Seems like the SDB is going a bit "commercial" these days. I think it is fairly obvious that they would reap profits if cruise ships poured in there all week. Sadly that fact probably heavily outweighs any "regulars" they would lose.

I mentioned this on the first page of posts. We were at The Soggy Dollar on June 3rd for a day trip. Mic the bartender was passing around a petition for patrons to sign.

Wonder how much revenue they would actually get from the cruisers who really don't seem to like to spend their money off of the ship? It would soon become like Cane Garden Bay.
