Does Maho still do prime rib night? I've never been there for it and would love to hear more about it too.

I have not eaten (or even visited Maho) at either Concordia or Maho Bay Camps... on this year's list. It looks like the final season will start up around mid-November. Hello PA girl! We're staying on sky top in fish bay...so I know we're a little off the beaten track. But, my husband and I are early to rise early to bed types. So, my thought..is to have daily breakfast at the villa, grab sandwiches at Deli Grotto, head to a beach, enjoy until 3:00 pm'ish then on the way back to the villa, stop for dinner. So, I guess we will be grubby at dinner time pretty much every day! Which brings up another point, is it cool to go to dinner at say aqua bistro or zozo's with shorts and a t- shirt? Do we need reservations at most of the nicer restaurants? And I am also a geek and quite the planner, so I will have something quite similar to your outlook calendar by the time we leave!PA Girl wrote:OP - where on the island are you staying? We always have more dining desires than evening meals so what I do is print off a blank calendar (yes, I am a total geek and planner) from Outlook and start looking at websites.
We will have 10 nights in February and I am already fretting about how to hit our old favorites with newer additions we haven't visited yet.
Some restaurants have "special" nights that you may want to know about. Lobster night a Morgan's, all you can eat shrimp at Lime Inn, seafood buffet at Caneel are a few that come to mind. Also, some have live entertainment that may make a particular place more or less appealling.
I have also been known to print off menus and distribute to family members. While I really enjoy Rhumblines, for example, the menu is sort of specific and it might not appeal to a meat-and-potato type of eater.
It's great and inexpensive by STJ standards! The views are stunning and you don't have a server so you don't have to tip, saving you another 20%. Unfortunately Maho Camps close in May so get it while you can!Dome526 wrote:Friday is Prime rib night at Maho? SOLD!!! Meat, what's for dinner!
