Well Luke had his scope and varices were present. He has a bleed and the docs did scherlothapy to scar it. He also has fluid in his lungs. His docs are calling Boston and letting them know how sick he really is. My daughter spoke to boston today and they were stunned at how sick he has become since his liver transplant evaluation in December.
Hopefully. He will come home this weekend His sister Olivia misses him so much and is truly lost without him here. He is too unstable to go back to Boston right now. My daughter usually stays with me throughout the summer. She loves Cape Cod!! I want her to come home but not for this. Liver transplants are scary on so many levels. It is the initial surgery. Then the donors life you mourn. Then the surgery and recovery. Then the lifetime of steroids you need to take at the precise moment to survive. Praying they don't give you cancer. Many of our liver friends get cancer from the anti rejection meds. Well enough of that. On to the next step! Thanks for the forum love <3

Julie - I can't even imagine what a difficult road you are facing with little Luke. Life is so unfair sometimes. I will keep praying for healing and recovery for him. Thinking of you and your family.

Latest on SuperLuke! He is still in the hospital he had another blood transfusion yesterday and another scope today because he is still testing positive for blood in his stool. His ascites (belly fluid) which was infected has gone down almost back to normal :D
The doctor scarred another vein in his esophogus. Boston should be calling my daughter Erica soon to get his transplant eval back on. He probably wont have a high number PELD score unless he gets exception points which I really don't know too much about right now. Thanks for your support and prayers!
