Damn! 47 ? That's just all f'd up.
Folks, kiss, hug, smile at someone close to you.I've lost two of my very best friends and my "baby" sister in the past year. All too young! All sudden, and un-expectantly.
Have you put off doing something that you always wanted to do?
Have you put off taking some time off?
Have you put off writing a thank you note?
Have you put off mending a fence somewhere?
Some tomorrows never come...
RIP, Carrie, a.k.a. Aroobagirl

Such sad news. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family and friends. I love the picture one of you painted of her walking the sands of her beloved St John now.

So so very sad. I had the chance to chat with Carrie on a couple of occasions and she was always so wonderful and helpful.
Her love for her girls and her husband were so obvious, I ache for them. I can't even imagine.
Rest in peace, Carrie.

It's just terribly sad. I've just been reading back through some of her posts. Some of them get cast in a very different light now. Some seem pretty eerie.
It's too true, JT. I take way too much for granted.
"Life short-call now."
Sometimes I do find it jarring on this forum when folks express serious, sincere sentiments in posts that also include certain signature lines or are accompanied by certain avatars.
I'm going to read some more of her posts now. Then go spend time with my wife.
