Fantastic!

Have always wanted to do the "spur of the moment" thing but haven't been able to. Can't wait to hear all about it. Have FUN!

Wow how awesome to be spontaneous. And I thought lunch at Cheeseburgers in Paradise was a good way to get away from the weather.

Retirement is a couple years away, but one of the things I'm looking forward to is spur of the moment travel. Have a great time - it will be even sweeter because of the unexpectedness of it!

I am on a lucky streak--the first place I called had an available vehicle for our entire stay! So don't look for me hitchhiking after all. :D

So cool! I hope it is warm enough to thaw you out quickly and keep you warm enough to get to spring. Enjoy!

sadams, I am not staying at Lavender Hill. I know lots of folks on the forum have and they like it. It certainly is in a good location!

You guys don't mess around!! Good for you. I cannot tell you how many times I have thought to do exactly what you and John are doing but....having 3 kids in tow takes the spontaneity out of it!! I am about ready to shoot six holes in my freezer!!

I don't need to tell you to have a wonderful time, I know you will. But do enjoy the lack of snow, icicles, snowthunder, hail, sleet, black ice, below freezing temps and the list goes on!!!! :D
