My forum name is the name of our boat that we keep in Coral Bay. Have no idea why my husband chose that name but that's what it is. Sad to say that on this very day my husband is on STJ and meeting with a potential buyer. It is with mixed feelings that we part with the boat. Before we got her we always chartered in the VI so we'll probably go back to doing that. It's always sad when a big piece of your life changes now with the boat and previously with our place on STJ. It's time to start anew. The sale will not keep us from going to STJ. In fact I plan to be there this summer and again in the fall to meet up with some of the ladies on the "girls" trip.

Well, I am Liam's aunt! The only thing is that I have been using this name forever, but as time has gone on, I have obtained a lovely niece too. So, on some other forums, I post as her aunt. Have to keep things fair, don't you know.

When I get married, I will be Mrs. Cheryl A Rolph. Hence --> Mrs C A Rolph. Not Mrs Carol PH.

I've always been a car girl, so I get a kick out of the fact that my initials will spell CAR.

Me too Mia -- I guess I didn't want to say anything cause I realized 2 things: 1) I lost my dad in September, 2001 and 2) I was born in December, 1971 -- so I guess your beautiful daughter was just about mine and flip flops age.

I guess we just don't like to think about that kind of stuff in our "happy place" or in this case our "electronic happy place."

But as my Dad always used to tell me, "None of us get out of this alive - so enjoy it while you can!"

Well, mine is hardly creative. I am obsessed, very much (with getting back to STJ).

By the way, whomever's name was Sydney- I LOVE that name!

Mia - Having gone through what I've been through over the last year (somehow you never think the stats will happen to you) and having a miraculous and good outcome, my heart so goes out to you. Hard enough to lose or potentially lose a baby, much less a grown child. Its just not the way it should be, but you know all of that is so beyond our control. I am a control freak and nothing teaches you you can't control the world like life's ups and downs.

Don't know what else to say other than you have such a great spirit and are always so pleasant on the forum!
Jorge wrote:OK, Jorge is my real name. I know it does not make any sense. A spanish spelled name and I am a fat white redneck boy. If you would ask my dead mother why, she would tell you that at the time she was reading a novel. My reasoning has always been that she was getting a strange piece of a$$. My friends call me hor for short. Luvya, Jorge
And so Jorge is do you pronounce it HORHEY or George? Just curious as it helps me with the voices in my head.

Great topic!
I thought my name was obvious, but apparently, not to everyone (RickG  )
I wish I had been more creative, but kygirl is short for Kentucky girl. I was born, raised, and now I'm raising my family here in Lexington, KY.
