Noreen there are no TVs in the rooms. I do believe there are telephones now, and there is definitely wifi.
BeachBum, yes, you will need to go into town for supplies. The taxi is $5/each way per person.

You'll need to take a taxi into town for your food and beverages. I'd either go to Starfish Market or Dolphin Market to get what you need.

I will be on a plane tomorrow at this time heading to paradise!!!!! I can't wait and hope all snow, etc. waits for me to exit this cold a__ place!!!!!

Question for any Caneel Bay or St. John regulars...
We put our name down on Monday morning to reserve a jeep for Tuesday. When we left our room to go get the cab they had stuck a note in our door saying that there were no auto available! The concierge (sp?) called around and was not able to find anything!
Is that typical either here at Caneel or on the island???
We almost felt like they didn't want us to rent a car so our money stayed "on resort!"
Am I way off base in thinking that? Another couple came up after us and found out about the car thing and sorry to say, they got into a fight with each other! Me...I'll just enjoy paradise another way!!!
