Ah, in the later dock picture the flotsam has decomposed itself from the diver shape it was in. Whew!

If you want to see the "diver", though, go up to flipflop's 10:58 a.m. post. (I've forgotten how to post pictures!)

sapphirecat,
Yes, earlier I saw the "diver" too! What a good imagination you have.
I've been looking at the Villa Serendipity web cam for the last few minutes or so...each time the camera refreshed, the boats seemed to be pointing in different directions...there must be powerful winds there
Stay save, everyone and animals, too.

Ruth, go down there and write a message in the sand so we'll know you are OK.

I see what you mean, spindrift. And that's supposed to be a harbor area, isn't it?

Ruth's webcam is stuck at 1pm St. John time--Earl must be hitting them pretty hard right now. I keep praying everyone on that island is safe and property is protected enough that everyone has plenty of food, water & shelter afterwards...

Any idea what that black stain is in the water? Hope it's not oil.

Between the bottom being churned up, the dock breaking up, 2 (that I can see) yellow dinghys that broke free and ended up by the dock and on the beach, it could be anything.

I should have taken a screen shot, but there was a very brilliant/bright flash next to the dinghy dock for a few minutes. It looked like a fire of some sort. Of course, if it was, the sea took care of that...

I saw it too and almost posted about it but couldn't grab a photo. I've seen it several times.

It sure has, and I don't see that large power boat that was there earlier. Hoping I'm just not seeing it, but I'm afraid it may have broken loose.
