You asked WHY the Ravens didn't challenge the call. The interview we all got in B-more with the coach made it clear. The guys in the booth were unable to get the replay!! Thanks Boston..not playing fair. The second challenge he said they did have access to the replay..oh well we really didn't need another score

There was a big article in our local paper..seems the booth didn't get the replay until it was too late. They are now talking about correcting that in future games...of course Raven's folk all think it was on purpose :) That's ok at least Brady wasn't using the Ladies room like our last game against them.
Now onto Indy..could be rough

The Ravens booth got a replay, but not the angle that the rest of us watching the game got. Their replay was from behind the player and didn't show him losing the ball as he came to the ground. Fishy.

If Rice can get yards, Ravens beat the Colts.

Guess I'm old school - I dont mind watching good running games (3-4 yards and the perverbial cloud of dust) that the Jets and Ravens feature because I tend to key off the O-line at the snap of the ball and can appreciate good traps and blocking schemes (I played linebacker and coached some in another life).

For those running teams, too bad the weather wont be a factor this weekend. Three of 4 games take place indoors. The fourth is in San Diego. This is football in January? Even the National Weather Service finds it boring – temp forecasts for the games: roughly 70, 70, 70 and 69.
No steam heads this weekend, no last second field goals hit through the snow, no idiots removing their shirts in subfreezing temps.

As noted earlier in this thread, the only chance that weather will be a factor during the rest of the postseason is if the planets align and Jets win in SD and the Ravens take it to the Colts. Then the championship game would be at Giants Stadium (NJ is lovely this time of year!) with Jets fans probably so excited that some will surely strip out of their shirts no matter the temperature. Here’s hoping Rex Ryan does not join them.

SJ, I'm with you on 3 outta 4, though but the way the Saints played the last 5 weeks of the season is worrisome.I'm not betting on that one- I'm just going to sit back and watch what I hope is a good game. I'm making a huge pot of Brunswick stew and got a couple of long suffering Saints fans coming over to watch. If I was to bet it I would pick the Saints to win, but the Cards to cover.

I agree about the Ravens not having enough to beat the Colts. Indy to cover.
I hate the Cowboys, but they're playing pretty darned good right now. My heart's with the Vike's and the old man, but money is on Dallas. 35-34 Vikings would be perfect to me!
I don't see Sanchez leading the Jets past the Chargers at home, though Norv Turner doesn't have a very good track record in really big games. He tends to coach "not to lose" rather then to win. My heart's with the J-E-T-S, but my money is on SD to cover 7.

Bolts will load the box and dare Sanchez to beat them; Revis can't cover 4 receivers at once, guys will be open for Rivers.

Warner is hot and, as last week showed, they are dangerous even without Bouldin. It should be close, but I like the Cards in this one.

The Girls are hot, but the Dome is a tough place to play. I think this could turn into the AP show.

I don't really think that the Colts have a lot of ways to beat other teams. Their run game is suspect. It's pretty much all about Manning. If the Ravens knock him around a bit, they could win this game...especially if Rice chews up clock and keeps Manning off the field.

Okay, 0 for 1 so far. Thank god I don't bet on these games.
