It's starting tomorrow night. At first we were getting a couple of inches and it would be gone by Sunday morning; then it went to 8-12 inches. Now they're saying "Blizzard" and may stay around for the afternoon. We'll see.
Boston.com had 20 inches for the Cape tomorrow! We're supposed to be making a trip up to Chatham Pottery (about 2 hrs drive from here) tomorrow to grab my mom's Christmas present. Might have to postpone!
Postponing sounds like a smart idea. Snow removal is not very efficient around these parts.

I just stuck my head out the front door and the bay is ROARING. Can't imagine the outer Cape!

DH left this morning with a shopping list. Silly me thought he was Christmas Shopping! Nope, all he had on it was a generator, diesel fuel and firewood. LOL

We ended up postponing the road trip to the cape. Although in retrospect, we could've easily made it up and back before the first flake fell around here. We'll go Monday instead. Enjoy the Christmas Blizzard of 2009! It's really coming down here. We are about 11 miles from the North Fork of Long Island (as the crow flies), and they are supposed to get hammered. Should be an interesting night! Back out to the garage I go to finish putting the plow on the John Deere.

I grew up on The North Fork, now I'm extra happy.

Just woke up to 2 feet of snow here in Jersey.
It's prety & all, but give me some of that powdery white sand instead, any day!!!

K John you officially STINK for that video! I have recovered from my 40th b-day trip with you 8) . Thanks so much for the video and for finding and shipping the disposable camera. The pics on there were definitely something I wanted in MY hands (and only my hands) .
