Just a little update - hopefully I will start posting soon - as soon as "Erika" has passed I can spend more time on figuring out the "how too's" of the blogging. It should be interesting (or really boring I'm not sure which

I didn't know if you knew that we are doing it all ourselves (well Les is

) - all the plumbing, electrical, demo and rebuild of interior walls, install of cabinets, pocket doors and appliances, new gas lines, new water lines, tiles work........OMG what have I gotten into

- the only thing we are having done is the install of the soapstone but then again I am half expecting Les to say he will do that too - I am blessed with a really talented husband - not to mention he is a perfectionist so it might be a looooong blog

I really admire people who can do it all themselves! If you need help posting pictures, let me know. I don't know anything about how to do it on Word Press, but I'll help if I can.

Thanks CG - I just drafted my first entry but have to go back and find pictures of the way the house looked when we bought it - I thought a little background of how it was, how it is and how it will be would be good - hopefully page 1 soon come
