We did go in July 
We left at 8am and it was almost 3 hours to get there as we cleared Customs in Tortola (about 65 people and slow) and we returned at 5pm and made it in about 2 hours and cleared Customs again - we were almost first off and were through in about 10 mins but if you were last it probably took you 25 mins or so before you were heading home.
