How do you get out of school w/o the jello shot experience. I remember my first jello shots fondly at one of my best girlfriend's 21st birthday party in my apt. They were green without garnish. Where was Gromit when I needed her?
Lots of people. Lots of jello. All I remember is her ending up passed out under my bed. Under. Not in. UNDER. I think it was too loud and she was tired and wanted a quiet place. Anyway....
The moral of the story is THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR JELLO!

I'm so glad that my Jell-O Shot rep precedes me... and Becky if you're reading this I can be gentle with you too!
I think the Beach Bar might frown if we brought our Jell-O shots to the bar with us so we may have to just deal them out of the cooler on the beach.
Or maybe I can make some extra cash?? Hmmmm.....
Maybe the Bongo Boys can do a segment: Jell-O shots with Gromit...
Cruz Bay will never be the same again.... Ruth you got a fridge up there at StJ Spice??

You all have me laughing!
This thread reminded me of the first time I had jello shots -- at a streetfest in Chicago at a bar called the Big Nasty. For some reason they had a giant Elvis and a ratty old couch in front of the building. I have vague memories of jumping on the couch trying to eat/drink the jello shots... not a moment I'm proud of, exactly, but I had a good time (or so I'm told.)
Later that day I bought a bracelet made of metal matchbox cars. Seemed like a good idea at the time, and I loved that thing. Just found it recently when cleaning out a drawer.
Sigh... the bad ol' days.

And all this time I thought that was Tom Cruise!

Ok, you can't just tell about it, we must have a picture of this bracelet!

ohhh, now I'm so sad. I actually did throw it away when I did my drawer cleanout, and this was just a few weeks ago! (I finally got new bedroom furniture after about a gazillion years.) DH even asked "are you SURE you want to throw that out?" damn. every time I have a rare urge to get organized, it comes back to bite me in the rear.
Here's kind of what it looked like, except in my bracelet the cars were end to end (or bumper to bumper, I suppose.) I did love it, it got so many comments! When I started dating DH and we went to a black tie event, my friend's boyfriend said "it must be serious, she's not wearing the car bracelet."
Ya know what? My son has dozens of little metal cars in the basement that he has outgrown. Maybe I'll make a bracelet! I'm sure it will embarrass my daughter, but hey that's my job. If I do this I'll post a pic CA Girl!

No jello shots for me in college because I was a vegetarian then. I'm not a veggie any more, so I guess I will have to try one sometime!

Ahhhh... the story of my life! I just threw out my 1980's shoulder pads about a month ago, now I see they're coming back in style! Aaagghh!

Oh good, I hope so! The pic you posted is cute, but I bet bumper to bumper would look better!

Would it be wrong to choose travel dates just to be able to stalk someone's famous jello shots?

Not if you're cool...

I'm pretty cool. I won't ask Jello for an autograph, and I'd actually prefer
not to have my picture taken with Jello.
Also, I won't even reveal Jello's real identity to anyone should I actually run into Jello, say, on the beach.
See, super cool.
