I missed this thread while I was in Las Vegas for 6 days. I swear...it really was a work trip!

Wife & I will be there for our first STJ visit staying at Bongo Bongo. We can't make the Beach Bar on the 21st since we'll be home packing our carry-ons, but we'd probably be game for another day if anyone wants to do that.

BTW...we're trying to get a sailing trip to Jost with Survivan (capt. Jason Carter) sometime between the 26th-28th. If anyone is interested please contact them and ask about a trip to JVD in that timeframe. I think he'll have room for about 4 more people.

June 19-29 for us at Moonswept (19-25) and Westin (26-29 free!)

Beach Bar sounds good but don't know if I can persuade the hubby.

He thinks message boards are weird (until he needs advice).

DJMom-- Flip Flop and I are completely harmless and we're LOTS of fun. If you have to - leave the hubby on the beach and just come for a bit.

I'll be there from the 16th to the 25th, but my husband doesn't do too many STJ trips anymore. He doesn't/shouldn't/can't drink......so STJ and BB gatherings are still hard for him. But I make up for what he doesn't/shouldn't/can't drink. I am sad that we can't go to STJ and get smashed like we used to. I'd have one less kid if we hadn't had our BB nights. I guess that goes under the category of TMI.

I just told him I was going and he is like "there is no way in hell you can drive there"...which is the answer I wanted so guess what...I think we will be there!

Nope it isn't........alcohol and alcoholim is two differet things, and the later is a family tragedy.

Sounds like the forum group with be taking over the Beach Bar on the 21st. Someone should call ahead and tell them to stock extra rum for the day.

We are on STJ 6/20 - 7/1 (STT on 6/19) and definately will be at the BB on the 21st and maybe the 28th as well.

It's looking like we'll be on island June 11-27. I'll know for sure tomorrow.

Not sure on the Beach Bar though. Like DJMom's hubby, John thinks that meeting people from internet message boards is very weird. Ruth and Ron excepted of course!

However, despite his protestations, I did drag him to a forum gathering a couple of years ago and he had a nice time, so maybe we'll be there...
