Lynn is my hero. She was victorious in this race through strength, courage, and support from a wonderful husband and friends. She'll have victory in this next race the same way. Add me to the prayer list.

Oh my gosh Ben I’m so sorry! I cannot imagine what y’all are going through right now. I will definitely be praying for Lynn. She must be pretty healthy if she was able to finish 8 Tuff miles, so I’m sure that will be a big factor in her beating the cancer. God bless!

Just wanted to wish Lynn the best with her treatments. A positive attitude such as hers will definitely help her in this battle. My prayers will be with her throughout this ordeal. A candle will be lit for her tomorrow. Remember that you can overcome this. Take it from a 15 year surivor.

Wow guys! Thank you for the outpouring of support. Lynn, who is not an avid forumite like the rest of us, took the time and read every response. I would like to thank you for all of it. It was priceless to watch her read them all. I added some pics of the girls at the finish line at the beginning of the post.
Meeting Gymnastika at the barge ferry dock was icing on the cake to what was a great trip. One day, I might get around to a trip report.
Thanks again,

Dear Ben and Lynn,
What an inspiration you both are! Thank you for the lift. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
My husband has been ill and was hospitalized this week for tests. Cancer is a concern, but Drs are going to do surgery for something else and take a biopsy at that time. He is feeling pretty good right now, and we are very grateful for that.
Lynn-you are amazing. Keep your positive attitude!

I got tears in my eyes, when I read this post. I know how it is to get such a diagnosis as your Lynn, and I found it so touching that she was able to go through with this run in the way she did!
I send all my best wishes for the future for you and your Lynn! I’m convinced that the trip to STJ will be a good help.
