Ha! That ctacked me up. I won't say its all smiles all the time with 10 people uner one roof. But there are more fun moments than trying ones.

As to more pictures of the house, if you click on any one of my photos it takes you to a larger set of trip photos, including several more house shots. It wasn't quite Mermaid Falls, but it was very nice.

Capt Kirk is right---Provo is a little fancier than VI. Works best for someone who wants to lay on a lounge chair at a pretty beach all day and eat at a different expensive restaurant each night. Personally, I like to have 2 or 3 elegant dinners out, mixed in with a few dive bars on some of the other nights.

Thanks Jim! The rest of the pics are great. I've done a bit reading about T&C in my extensive armchair travels and your photos very much confirm my impressions. I imagined that the beaches and the water are just gorgeous which your photos confirmed and the land would look similar to Anguilla but with more development....especially residential.....maybe a cross between Anguilla in looks with a Bermuda polish? How was the golf?

Agent 99--You've nailed it in terms of the feel of the island. There was definitely a splash of Bermuda mixed in with the Caribbean vibe. The interior of the island is scrubby, flat and not especially attractive, but in most places you weren't too far from a water view. Golf was pretty good---well maintained course, but not on the water. More like an inland Florida course. A couple of the guys on our trip (not me) are good golfers, so having a golf course was a plus, but not critical. The best golfer of the group said that if we were to do it again, he would have picked a second day of sailing over our golf day.

Saltydog---Thanks for the compliment on the "toes" shot, and lucky you to have a friend with a house in Provo!
