Great report and pics.

I've never had the pleasure of seeing such blue sky at Cinnamon - rain and clouds always find me there

Was the water New England cold? Not sure I'd like that.

That would be Eleanor Gibney's shepherd-mix puppy, coming up on her first birthday soon....described as a "transportation device for moving sand and salt from the beach to the house".
I always look forward to your reports--they make me want to come here on vacation.

I have been checking everyday for your report. It was worth the wait. Your pictures are amazing.

We made our first trip in Jan. Thanks to you and many others our trip was fantastic. Yes I get it and we are booked for 2 weeks next Jan. Your report is like reliving some of our trip.

I really enjoy your restaurant reviews. The places we tried from your suggestions were spot on. Can't wait to go back to Sweet Plantains.

Looking forward to the rest of your trip.

Thanks for the great start and beautiful pictures Becky! I'm so glad you didn't do the abbreviated version of your TR! I always enjoy reading all the details, especially when you write them the way you do ... looking forward to more!

Thanks got the compliments!

Regarding the water temperature, it is definitely not New England cold. It's just that this was our first winter trip, and the water is colder--I would guess it was around 77 degrees or so. Once we got in and started swimming we were fine, though I was not able to stay out as long as I normally would. I'm spolied!

Sailorgirl, I did not have a shortie. I think I would have been happier with one, but I did not feel like taking the time to go rent one. We spent very little time in town during the day. I even ran out of time to go shopping--we were all about the beach this trip!

The camera is just a canon sd 800. It's a couple of years old and I think it cost $200. We have the canon housings to bring them underwater.

Nancy_b, Ruth told me that you saw us at Cafe Roma! I really wanted to eat there but we decided not to stay because of the cigarette smoke. I was disappointed not to get to try their food.

I had yesterday off from work and cranked out most of the rest of the report. Once I fix some of the picture links I'll put up the second part.

Another great report! I second the notion of you writing a book. You could even do your own pictures! It should be a book about travel and food for sure!
