I have used a hell of a lot worse and a hell of a lot better restroom facilities then the one at Skinny's. It is what it is. Wash your hands and if you have that extra uggy feeling, bring hand sanitizer. Nuf said...
Yup...this is one of the reasons we resist the urge to bring newbies to STJ. I'm not sure some of our friends could make the transition. It's not a place to be pampered. Sissies don't survive or return.

I was worried about our newbie Beach-Chicken-Worrying friend and the lack of restroom facilities at most beaches but she downed her beers and hung with the rest of us.
My mother keeps hinting at staying at Maho or Cinnamon while we stay at a villa but her significant offer says "I did all enough sleeping on the ground as a Marine. I like my comforts."

I remember the bathrooms in Charlotte Amalie as being super clean, with attendants, who I tipped well for keeping them that way. I even remarked to a few people who were going there on cruises that the bathrooms in CA were some of the cleanest, well-maintained I've ever used.
I think the bathroom at the Banana Deck is also pretty clean, so I don't think it's just "the Caribbean", although you have to take that into account.
A good scrub-down now and then couldn't hurt Skinny's.

Heads at the Marketplace are spotless (at least on the men's side).

Best bathrooms on island, for sure, at the Market Place!

Stone Terrace's bathrooms, when there was a Stone Terrace, were great. The bathroom at Asolare is like a freakin' hotel suite.

I like the bidet at Kismet, it tingles.

I swear I must have a great bladder because I really can't recall peeing in any of these places and I've been to too many of them.
I specifically remember the CA, STT bathrooms being very nice as CAGirl mentioned and the bathroom at Mongoose is ok. I have pretty much never peed anywhere else on island...I must hold it or only go in the villa. Maybe I need to drink more water, all the alcohol might be dehydrating me.

You belong in Wisconsin...that's what all the Wisco girls say.
Well, actually, they say, "don't tap the keg." But, it's the same thing.

Flip - you are like one of my college friends. She could start at 9pm and go until sunrise, guzzling beer the whole night long.

Flip's a young pup still wet behind the ears. I remember those days, as well. She'll have a better understanding when the big 50 appears on the horizon.

Joshie, I saw those toilets on some TV program and they're really cool!
