John and I spent this past weekend on Cape Cod, and I cooked delicious super fresh fish every night. This was John's favorite dinner: pasta with cod, clams, and lobster, in a white wine, heirloom tomato sauce. I don't understand why I can't get this quality of fish closer to home.

Oh yum.... And you've photographed it so beautifully, too. My hubby would LOVE this dish. I keep this message board a secret from him-- if he saw what you guys do,he'd be wondering why I'm not?!...Although after all these years of my cooking I'm sure he already knows

Wow, it's been since Sept since Liamsaunt posted that wonderful seafood stew pasta dish. I guess it's time to get back into the swing of things.
Here's recent addition to my kitchen -- this could be dangerous!

I don't even know what that is! Is it an espresso maker?

It does sort of look like some medieval water torture device! However, it makes an amazing cup of espresso with gorgeous crema!

I've never understood the whole keurig thing .... though it's certainly true that a manual espresso machine requires a fair bit of dedication. Yes, some people also go overboard with their 'capuccino art'!

At any rate, moving back to food, here's something I made up a couple of nights ago because I wanted something spicy: thai curried chicken soup, beef satay and a very spicy peanut sauce.

I don't drink coffee so the Keurig I can make tea and chocolate milk. Like using the expresso machine for my wife but sat there for 5 years

I have not posted in this thread forever! Here is a loaf of bread I baked yesterday, crusty cheesy bell pepper-provolone bread:
