Hey Jim-
Hope the latest surgery was a success and that the visit from your sister brightens everyone's spirits. Thinking of you.

Have a great time with Kenny. He's great as usual this year.
Still remembering all of you in my prayers. Be as positive and hopeful as you can.

Jimmy, we've been home less than an hour and I'm here to check on your brother. Praying for ya. Sounds like you're going to be ok... praying nonetheless.....

I'm not gonna' count any chickens yet...,
However;
Paul's fever has dropped, he's infection-free, and he's had his last (hopefully) leg operation.
He's very responsive, and awake moreso than can be expected.
He speaks very slowly, and constantly tries to itch his trache, bandages & sore spots.
He's alive & awake.
He's alive and awake.
It's a wonderful feeling...

Jimmy
P.S.-
I believe ,in some way, that your messages for our brother gave our entire family so much more emotional elasticity. Thanks for helping us simply breathe.
Well, so far so good ...
As I mentioned @5 pages ago, maybe one day my family will figure out why I love to go to STJ every year.
It's the kindness shared that's as easy as love. Thank you all for bringing a part of Love City home to share with us.
Thank you so much.
I just bought Paul "be as you are"...
Can't wait to enjoy it with him.
Smiles-
Jimmy

Jim that's great news! I bet you feel like you can finally take a breath. The next big milestone is when they can finally get that damn trach out. He'll be so much more comfortable them. Hugs.

mahojim, This is just bad stuff. You really make a good point of letting it all settle and being calm when on the road. To much hussle these days and not enough human compassion. Jody(my wife)and I send our prayers. God bless you.
