Thanks to all who offered help. Xislandgirl was able to post this for me. This picture is one of many that a service on Tortola provided us with. I did not post it on "show your face" because our faces are not as nice as the boat. :)

I like pictures of places "in town". The beaches and sunsets are all really awesome, but as someone who's pretty much only been to Mongoose Junction as far as Cruz Bay is concerned, I like putting "faces" on all the places I hear about all the time on the forum. And after my trip next May, I'll still want to see those pictures to remind me of what a great time I had sitting in that same spot with a cool one in my hand. Thanks for posting this great shot. :D

I know what you mean CA girl! I love that I know those are the stairs to the Quiet Mon back there and right underneath is La Tapa. YEAH for La Tapa!

I will make a point to take a pic of all of the places we visit so that I have that to remember them with! I probably have 400 pics from our last trip and look at them almost daily! Now that we are going back It is even worse!

peterb,
What was the year that first picture of Cruz Bay was taken?
I have been meaning to ask you that.

My daughter likes this one. This is a friend we had on our deck at Gallows Point. He liked the trail mix we were snacking on. :)

Here's a couple more I found. It pays to go through your stuff once in awhile! :D

Magen's Bay from St. Peter Greathouse on St. Thomas. Who can name those islands out there for me?

CAgirl - wouldnt that be JVD, Tortola, and STJ left to right in the distance?

Inspired by your vista, here is a quiz for those like me who need some more eye candy on a rainy gray November day here in NJ...

What island is in distance and whereabouts is photo taken from?

Where is this taken from and name those islands in the distance...

Hi JMQ, I am not sure, but is your first photo taken on St. John's East End, looking towards Tortola?

The second one...the vegetation also looks like the East End, but I am wondering if it is maybe Tortola with the visible islands being St. John and St. Thomas?

Sorry if I am completely wrong. Nice photos (as always) in any case!

Greetings liamsaunt - correct on top photo from East End looking at Tortola.

Bottom photo is from halfway up Gorda Peak on Virgin Gorda looking southwest with Tortola on the right (Beef Island portion in foreground) and looking down Drakes Passage at St. John way in background approx 17 miles away - good visability that day.
