Joe Biden is very qualified to be president, and he's smart. He was probably the smartest candidate that ran this year. So, he makes mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. And I'd like to think that he does it because he's talking from the heart and is not as well-scripted and polished as other politicians and that's fine by me.

How come, when Biden says crazy stuff he's an idiot, but when Governor Barbie does it, she's a "real American."

SJ - I can deal with the ones that have merit, but when rumor after rumor is elevated to discourse, then I have problems with that.

And the technique of just spewing borderline or spurious stuff just to raise suspicions (they keep asking about it - it must be true!), which in turn forces the target of the attack to defend the accusations, is an old game that people are finally starting to see through.

Pete – no offense, but don’t lawyers use similar techniques in front of juries when they don’t have a real case? Must be a name for it.

SJ - thats funny. Thanks for the laugh. He is a gaffe machine, but its maybe from too much stuff crammed into his brain, not too little. Plus I think the fact that having a VP that speaks his mind or will be willing to tell the emporer he has no clothes on could be a good thing.

As I have said before: I don’t believe Palin will be able to get respect from the leaders in the world. But does it matter? Isn’t USA so strong that it’s unimportant what the rest of the world is thinking about their vicepresident/ president?

Oh, so because I'm fat and short if I say mean things about the beauty queen running for vice president who doesn't even know what the vice president does, then I must be jealous. No, I just feel bad that she's in way over her head. That's why they dress her up in expensive clothes, have her pose for the pretty pictures and pray to God that no one asks her a question.

Barack Obama is qualified to be president. He's over 35. He was born in the United States (unlike someone else), and he's lived in the U.S. more than 14 years. That makes him qualified.

Was he my first choice? No.

Actually, the king of the gaffes with his patriotic tax paying and excellent experience in international relations was my first choice.
