I am really surprised that airfare isn't starting to come down any. I have been trying to book a flight in March for Key West and right now its $508 a ticket! I know its considered spring break but that's ridiculous to Florida???

You would think with the way the gas prices are falling the airlines would maybe drop the their ticket prices at least a little?

You may have already thought of this, but just in case, many people post their dates with Yapta for monitoring. Are those flights fairly well booked at this point? If not, Yapta might catch a very short sale, you never know! As a previous poster mentioned, AA is running non-stop flights out of Boston and New York to STT; however, I believe 5 days a week not 7 at this point. Sure is stressful when we can't just book everything and be done with it!! Keep us posted.

Can you change your dates or departure city?

April 14-21 or 15-22 $312.30 BOS-STT r/t on Spirit (2 stops, change of planes)

April 14-21 or 15-22 $322.30 BOS-STT r/t on Delta (1 stop, change of planes)

My flight for May (non-stop out of Newark) skyrocketed from $438 when it first listed to more than $900 at its highest. It is now down to $738. I don't know if this is encouraging but at least there seems to be some movement downward.

Thanks for all the suggestions, Chip is working on changing the dates for our trip and Villa Fish has been great to work with my changes.
It is hard for us to travel 2 hours to an airport given that we are 8 minutes from Bradley. My time and the convenience is worth $200 for me, so in most cases it does not make the ride worth it.

I am scared because I have Yapta tracking flights for next June and some are selling out. I keep waiting for the price to go down and maybe it won't.

I'm driving to Atlanta to fly out next week, but I am saving $500 and still getting to STJ at a decent time.

Not sure how low you need to go, but you can go Hartford to STT with 1 connection for $656 on American.

Delta has it for 572--if you leave and return at the beginning of the week (april 20
that's from hartford

i have also found that the time of day that i search for flights sometimes impacts how much they are-not sure WHY that would be, but found this to be the case when planning a trip to Jazz fest...
not sure if it applies to this route.
