Stupid donkeys indeed.

Bug, since you guys have a trip coming up, how about I send everyone a mosquito repellent patch? Or some Deet? You're gonna need it after this week...

BTW, my husband just pointed out that my eyes look a little crazy in our airplane self-portrait. I'd like to defend myself by stating that I was in my xanax-induced flying haze. I look like that runaway bride woman with that intense stare. Creepy.

alw1977-I love your writing style, totally get the Island Hair thing, and hope and pray you got to see some stupid, or maybe even crafty donkeys on this trip

ps - if I were on Island right now, I probably wouldn't wait for the glass (see below) ..... thoughts and prayers to the USVI's and their people.

Gromit, it has been a while. Of course, with all these upcoming trips, you might be stocked up until time to write your own!

Unfortunetley, I won't be needing bug spray next week because I was unable to join this years SOTB II. I think the other girls might just take you up on that!!

XOXO

Can't wait to hear more about your trip...hopefully, it will include the donkeys! I know how you feel; after my first trip when I saw them, it took me about 3 more years before I saw them again! Salomon is one beach I have not seen yet - better put that on my list. And as an original SOTB'er, have to say, I love your koozies!!!

Thanks so much for your report!! I related so much to your story about the hair & mosquitos points....I too cut my long hair into a short bob (big mistake for me) & being from the South (raised in Alabama) was used to those little 'skeeters - but the ones on the Lind Point Trail are in a league of their own!!
Looking forward to your next installment!
