Flip-flop, I just read through this again and realized how much we had in common: we were there the same week, we sat at the same table at Skinny's, and we both experienced scorpions and Scrabble! And of course the skeeters (there's an "s" theme going on). You have adorable children, and I love the photo of you and Mr. Flip. Keep 'em coming! Now that I'm done my reports I'm going through serious withdrawal...

Great report,Flipper. thanks for all of your efforts and time. Your little mini-me munchkins are gold! The pics from the Bistro kind of hit a sore spot with me. What's up with these places giving you a paltry about of food, with artsy-fartsy drizzle and squiggles around it in an attempt to make it look like more? I don't mind a nice presentation, but good grief,man, put some damned food on that plate! I think liamsaunt should be giving lessons to these people on how to do both!

I know JT. We like to try the fancy every now and then but sometimes it gets a bit fussy. Though in all fairness we'd already eaten at least 1 or 2 of those scallops!

Great report and pictures. Your pictures bring back sooooo many good memories. Especially the one at Skinny’s – I can still remember the day that you came through the door and we met for the fist time. We all need to hook up again – but for now; I will relive STJ through all the trip reports and pictures. Thanks so much.

Flip, you do get "it" in so many ways. How I miss my baby sometimes, who is now grown with babies of her own. However, I have to say grandchildren run a close second! But sometimes, they remind me of my own daughter so very much, I get an ever so slight glimpse of her again. I do wish that we could have taken a trip to STJ with her when she was young. But will have to suffice with taking her next year with the kids!

I had to laugh at the mental image of you with your two year old over your shoulder. When my grandson was 2, I took him to Six Flags in MD to the waterpark for the first time. He loved it, but when it was getting late and I had to take him home to his mom and dad, he didn't want to go. I had to put him over my shoulder and carry him out while he cried "But I'm not POOPED yet!" over and over. As a grandma, I found it sweet and amusing. I love to remember it, especially since he is now 11 and very sophisticated. He hates it when I tell that story. Thank heavens we will be taking our 3rd trip with him and his parents to St. John in a couple of months. He still doesn't want to get out of the water, by the way.

LOL! For the most part I handle his meltdowns with amusement - he won't be a toddler forever! When he gets old enough anyway I'll get my revenge by telling potty-training stories about him to his girlfriends.
