If you remember in that quake, the north/south freeways out of Los Angeles were out for about 9 months and on the 10 east around West Los Angeles was out for a while. Reminds me that everything got fixed quickly given the incentives for early fix.

There was a police motor office who lived north of Los Angeles in the Palmdale/Lancaster area who was on his way to work and rode his motorcycle right off the freeway where it collapsed.
