Charleston is the best! My son went to the College of Charleston, graduated, and STILL hasn't come home to Virginia. He loves it there; so much to do in any subject area that interests you....We rented a house on the Isle of Palms when he graduated, and it was beautiful. I enjoy Sullivan's Island, but that's for days when I just want to get there quick, get out on the beach and do nothing. You can find any kind of restaurant you like in the area, but I have to agree, The Mustard Seed offers one of the most interesting and various menus I've ever seen....different choice, and always delicious. Enjoy your trip.

Well, we love Pawleys Island, and have been lucky enough to visit there for the past several years. It's not really a day trip though, it's a good hour north of Charleston, but a great place to consider for your next vacation!
