Same thing here ... Tommy (from Suite St. John) showed us the way to our villa, got us settled in and then took 3 of us down to Uncle Joe's for take out and bought us a beer at Cap's Place. I think we got 3 chicken and 3 rib meals and had quite a feast at the villa for our first night on St John. We loved both the chicken and the ribs. Enjoyed it so much, we went back a few nights later! Never did get to try out Candi's.

Actually, Kirk I reread what you wrote and you were right. And you're also right in that it's a great deal in terms of value and would definitely recommend it from that standpoint and frankly it does taste good given that you can take out and have a few beers while you're eating at the villa.

Here's a link to where we are going to be staying in Ireland. In fact the house in picture is one we're staying at. http://www.cashelfean.com/ We'll be there for two weeks. I've lived in Europe for eight years and England for a year, but during all my travels I have never been to Ireland so looking forward to it.

What a beautiful spot promoguy!
SW Ireland is a fantastic area to visit. We stayed in Killarney in County Kerry.
A few places worth a visit:
1) Ring of Kerry
2) Dingle A fishing village where you'd get some
great seafood.
3) The Gap Of Dunloe is a beautiful paved trail through
beautiful scenery.
4)castles, castles, castles
5)Cliffs Of Mohr
I soooo wanna go back
I'd share photos but that visit was
pre-digital for us.

Enjoy!
Kathy

Actually, we are picked up by one of my best friends and best man at lat and final marriage in Shannon. First stop is Dingle for overnight and then two nights during the Ring of Kerry. Then it'll be to the house.

He rents that place for 12 weeks and has asked us to come for the past bunch of years. STJ has always been easy because of the need to stay in touch with business and the three hour time limit works great. This year we decided to go for it and I'll just try to figure it out. Looking forward to it.
