Thanks all. I really appreciate this.
The babies are really cute, but you just hate to see all those wired and tubes going into them.
Here's their care page:

And regardless of what you call it, do not underestimate the power of this. I have great reason to believe that the collective prayers and positive thinking of many people can work miracles in some cases.
Ruth is 100% on target. I have a healthy, chunky 15 month old that was given a less than 5% chance of making it at 18 weeks along.
Add me in as well! Sweet thoughts to those sweet baby girls.

Group prayer works miracles. This is a great group to have praying for you. Keep reminding us and keep us updated on their progress.

...I wish you health and peace.
My brand-new niece as well as my sister-in-law were recently in a lot of trouble before birth. All worked out well and I hope the same for you and your family!

I've often asked for prayers for my chronically ill daughter and am always grateful for them. I will keep those babies in my thoughts. Good luck to you.

I'm late seeing this, but figure babies that small can probably continue to use prayers so I'l be praying!! I hope they are doing well.
Flip-I knew your son was born early, but had no idea how early. WOW!! He's such a cutie!!

My stepson was 3 months early 22 years ago, when technology was just getting started with premies. Now he is graduating in May from George Mason University Honors college, top of his class in Business. 4.0 since he was a freshman. Good luck, and we are praying for you and the girls.

Sorry I think the way I worded my entry was confusing. He wasn't born at 18 weeks. We were told at 18 weeks that he had a less than 5% chance of surviving. Catastrophic was the unkind word the initial sonogram tech used. He was diagnosed with fetal hydrops. Very bad stuff. After MONTHS of intense worry and invasive treatments he was born at 38 weeks, spent a few nights in the NICU, but he is here and unbelievably is 100% fine.
I am still convinced my positive outlook and the good vibes coming from all around the world made a difference!

Thanks for clarifying FF! The earliest I'd ever heard of a baby surviving was born at 21 weeks so I was really shocked when I read your post, but thought, hey, what do I know!

And I totally believe miracles happen so you never know! He was a miracle, just not premature!!
