Great report so far. We love that part of the island too. We stayed at St. John Livin' right up from you (before Memory Daze) last May and loved it. There was no one staying in Pink Horses while we were there, so we checked it out and added it to our list. Have fun!!

Pink Horses is really great! We would definitely come back here. They have a great CD library (all of the stuff we like... Clapton, Fleetwood Mac ,etc.). The grill area is awesome. The owners have done a fabulous job of thinking of everything.. They are from PA also so I'm not surprised...LOL!!

Yes, Tom you are right, my husband doesn’t read the forum.

But I can tell that although he is not like a big wrestler, he cannot participate in flyweight.
So there is much for me to be fond of!

And here is a part of my TR from last year:

“Laugh a little because hb do not wear bathing shorts as all other men here in VI, he wears short trunks as many still do at home. Have asked if we should buy some shorts, but he doesn't care. Better with short trunks!”

Later on I have found out that shorts trunks are what you name speedo’s.

So perhaps I wasn’t funny?

Besides, if your husband wants to wear a speedo, that's his perogative. At least he is not walking around buck naked like some of the people I have had the misfortune to witness on St. John's beaches!

Why is it, by the way, that the naked beach people are always the ones that, well, let's say would not found be posing on the cover of Sports Illustrated? I guess it's good that they have lots of self confidence! Or something...

You're so right about that... We "accidentally" (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it...) ended up on a nude beach in St. Bart's and needless to say it's not what we expected. The people that go to nude beaches are very comfortable in their own skin and they don't care if they aren't perfect. On another note though...I did have to get new glasses when I got home.

Hi Linne I think you are funny I could of seen my wife saying that about me we all think we look better then we do and at least our mates still like our looks I hope.

About Speedo: Actually I think that hubby is just as nice – or perhaps not nice if you prefer the slim type- in spedoo as in shorts, and I understand why he prefer not to wear shorts when bathing – in the sun or in water! So we didn’t have a big discussion about that.

About nude people: I never forget some years ago on the beach. Some young men came, they took of all their clothes not very far from me - and began to play football!!!! Very interesting! Can you imagine? Of course I couldn’t stop looking, but didn’t want to do it very obviously, so I took a newspaper to “read” in. After a while I found out that I had turned the newspaper upside down. I hope they didn’t see it!

But you are right. Normally it’s not the most beautiful people who go naked, or not the slimmest girl who wear tight fitting cloth or a very short skirt.
