We will be there on the 13th. I am part of a group of four teachers with their spouses from Missouri plus a friend from Florida. They are all first-timers to St. John except for my husband & I. We are looking forward to meeting everyone.

We'll be home by then! We're on island July 1-8. Nine more years until this teacher retires and I can travel when I want October, January, March. . . .

Cosmo maker is husband, Jim.
We will be traveling with two adult daughters and their boyfriends. Not sure if they will make it to Beach Bar that day!
Also, just found out some friends from here may join us, too!
So we may have a gang!

Lovethebeach - my sis-in-law, Cindy, is an art teacher; Shari, we'll miss you - hope you get back in July 09! Look forward to meeting Tami, Jeff, Barry, Mary Ellen and Jim. Sounds like there'll be a big crowd!

We're on Tortola this trip but will catch the Ferry over for the Beach Bar gathering. The only downside is I was looking at the Ferry schedule and didn't see any trips back to Tortola past 6:00 PM or so.
PIA or StJohnRUTH: are there any later Ferry options that you are aware of returning to Tortola? We could arrange for a Dom's taxi ride back later in the evening but would rather opt for the less expensive Ferry trip if one is available.

Greyhoundmom finally home from a crappy day at work...chilling with a glass of chardonney and listening to the new Michael McDonald Soul Speak CD (that gives you a clue as to how old I am!). Looking at the recap for the Beach Bar for 7/12 and am totally amazed at the number of people who'll be there! I was hoping for a few forum members, never expected to have such a turn-out! I'm blown away by the response and can't wait to meet everyone (will they have room for all of us???). Let's see, so far....
