Two weeks in Ireland this year. In twelve years of visiting we had prior to this year only gone to one other location Napa for a vacation.

We're planning a road trip up to NH and Maine in June.

I will be in Maine a few times this year but it just doesn't seem like a vacation to me anymore. More like my other home!
We will be spending Memorial day week at my sisters place.

It's a busy year for us, not including two trips to STJ. Sweet Christine has been laying into me over too much travel.

January - Czech Republic

February - Western Maryland/Deep Creek Lake ski house

April - New Orleans Jazz Fest with forumites

June - Cincinnati for the National Homebrewers Conference

July - Macon, GA family reunion

October - Denver for the Great American Beer Festival

December - Skiing in New Hampshire or Colorado

Cheers, RickG

St. Croix for us this year...maybe a return to STJ next year.

Promo - I envy you Ireland. Would love to go back -haven't been for many years and would love to see what the Celtic Tiger has brought since our last visit. Still have family up north in Donegal and south in Brittas Bay. Have a great time!

When I lived in Ireland I used to love to go to Brittas Bay!

I had to have surgery in February, so I told my husband that I wanted to cancel our trip to the VI’s that we had scheduled for May ’08. We thought we would take the year off and put the money towards our house, etc., so I canceled everything…. Well, that lasted for three days…I rescheduled for Nov. ’08. What can I say, I addicted to the VI’s!!!!

We are spending a family vacation, renting a beach house in Maine. I guess I can leave my snorkeling stuff at home this trip. I am looking forward to the trip but not the dreaming everyday kind of stuff St John invokes. For 2009 we are planning a 12 day trip , 7 on St John and 5 on Virgin Gorda. This is a budget stretcher for us but we will make it happen. I would never go anywhere but St John but my hubbie likes to see other places.I consider myself very lucky to have found such a wonderful place to visit and hope that I will make many more trips.

After taking the last child on her ~Graduation Cruise first thing this year....we have to travel to Mexico for the 1st child to say "He Did"!
His 1st choice was St. Thomas....but with family & friends traveling with us, we had to go with cheap all-inclusive.

Our hearts are still to go back to St. John tho.
We have that saying also...to many places to see on this earth than to go to the same place twice.

 Good choice to stay home to have a baby!!
