They really are the greatest and they dry quickly too. I need to get a few more. Between hanging out on the boat and going to the beach, I practically live in them.

They are also good for just throwing on in the morning at the villa to start the coffee so you don't scare your friends with your....tan lines

OMG that is so perfect! I keep blaming it on "the lighting" but surely it's "the eating" that does me in. Dang.

I found a cute terry cover up at Ann Taylor last summer. But after the first 2 days on STJ I cared less and less about the caboose and stopped trying to cover it up. Maybe it was the fact that I finally had some color, or maybe it was the vibe (and the cocktails.) Also, one of my suits (Nautica) has a sporty skirt bottom. I know that sounds old ladyish but with a cute tankini top I felt like I could swim and walk around in it. Even wore it to the grocery store without a cover up. With my other suits, I'd just wear a pair of shorts with the suit when I left the beach.

I just got my order from Lands End. 2 shirt like dresses (mid thigh, with sleeves). Check the clearance section they have cute colors. I had a white one I wore for 4+ years--they are outstanding quality and a good price...they are sold as coverups.

I am in the older crowd but love the tankini with a short skirt. Wore that from the time I got up to after dinner most days..can go anywhere.
Rick, don't know how old your girls are, but mine have only worn shorts & tank tops over suits since they were in their early teens. Did catch my 23 year old in a terry tube top kind of dress in Cancun this year...cute & comfy!

I just can't walk around in my suit anywhere off the beach. I just feel undressed. I have a few tankinis with matching pareos but I have to put on a coverup dress or shorts and a shirt.

I'm all about comfort and convenience so I love the lightweight strapless stretchy smocktop sundresses. They are my favorite.

I have absolutely no clue what women should wear off the beach, but I'm O.K. with that.

Size help please on the Land's end coverup. How do they run? I like them loose. Do they shrink much when washed?

They won't shrink when you wash them, and they last forever! I still have one that I bought in 2003. They are a very comfortable fit--not like a potato sack, but not form fitting either.

I have all my tags cut out because I have a little OCD when it comes to tags, but I think that I bought large and I am a size 8/10.

Did I just tell the entire internet what size I am?
