Thanks for your report. It sounds like such a relaxing vacation.

Do you know if there is space to park along the road and access to the water without crossing private property at Kiddle Bay? I'd like to snorkel there, but I don't want to walk on anyone's land.

Thanks!

I loved your report. It sounds like a great time! I can't wait to SCUBA in STJ!

Nice trip report. We were there almost the same time 2/6 - 2/16.Certain days the the visibility was very poor especially at Little Lameshur.

Question: Assume by your report that Josephine's Greens can be bought direct. What road do you drive up to her place? We did buy a container at Starfish.

liamsaunt,
You don't have to walk at all.... there is a "road" down to Kiddel... it's just VERY rough and jagged. If the hill down to the bay scares you, park up top and walk down.

If you go on google-earth or any good map you can zoom in close enough to see the road ways. I know for sure that Salt Pond is marked on google earth, Kiddel is 1 bay to the west from Salt Pond. In fact googleearth images are good enough to see the villas and the reef formations in the bay

Roberto,
Yes we buy directly from Josephine, who by the way is wonderful to visit with if she's not too busy. Her place is Coral Bay Garden Center, which is up the road from Love City Mini Mart(?) If your headed toward Saltpond on 107 hang a right after you pass the gas station and she's a 1/4 -1/2 mile on the left. You really can't miss it. The green are $3 a bag

Thanks for this. I'll let John make the call on driving vs. walking the road, but we'll definitely add this to the snorkel list!
