Now that you have your villa chosen (the hardest part of the trip planning, by the way) and rented your Jeep you should definitely get the books Feet, Fins and Four-Wheel Drive and Off the beaten Track Map and Book Combo. Read these in anticipation of our trip and for outlining and planning the beaches that you want to be sure to go to while you're there. Beyond that don't plan too much. Take each day as it comes and really relax and enjoy yourself. Leave some things for your next trip. I promise you'll be planning it before you leave the island.
By the way, which villa did you choose?

Claggs wrote:liamsaunt, looks like Fenway Park in your picture. I will be ready for Opening Day when I get back from my trip.
Question: Anybody have T-Mobile cell service? I can't seem to get a clear answer if I will have coverage. I know I should leave it at home but I can't escape the real world entirely. I also use it to check sports scores. I have a feeling I will not be watching much Sports Center.
Yup, that is Fenway, one of the only games I was able to sit in the front row for. The only tickets I have so far for next year are obstructed view for one game in May. Hopefully I can rectify this soon.
I have t-mobile. My phone had service, but only through the Tortola towers (Sun Com...$$$), and, when we were in Catherineberg, it was the boat phone, which is something like $25/minute!

I echo all the recommendations from the previous posters. We have had so much fun planning our upcoming trip....love all the books (they have been a huge help/guide); the map is great!
Enjoy the planning & anticipation!

On T-Mobile, my lady did not have coverage for her Blackberry. My Cingular/ATT service was great. Coral Bay has a tower and I got better service there than I do in DC. Cruz Bay was fine. The North Shore was spotty and the South Shore worked best with line of sight to STT.
Cheers, RickG
