Island Blues in Coral Bay was our lunch stop most days post-beach.
Miss Lucy's is also a wonderful lunch spot (also Coral Bay).
Both places are right on the water and the view from Miss Lucy's is to-die-for.
Please remember, it is NEVER ok to go into to public places in beachwear. Please change into or cover yourself up with t-shirts, shorts, sun dresses etc.
Bathing suits in public are not acceptable on STJ.

We always like to get some local food when we're on STJ. For lunch in Cruz Bay we stop by Hercules for pate or stop at one of the truck/cart/stand operations near the pavilion and the post office--Shelas's and Patricks are institutions. For dinner in Cruz Bay we like Sogo's (West Indian) or Sosa's (Latin Caribbean). In Coral Bay, the Sputnik bar sometimes has lunch and there are a few small operations at the triangle. The guys at Fire Foods were doing some interesting local food. Most tourists pass these places by and miss out on some good, inexpensive food.

Grotto Deli or is it Deli Grotto? I think it's the former. They have the best Italian subs ever. Everything we had there was very good and they got our takeout orders right for all 4 or 5 of our visits
Shipwreck Landing quickly became another favorite as we ended up paying three visits to this very laid back place. Not inexpensive but everyone cleaned their plates.
We hit Skinny Legs around 2:00 or so after a morning at the beach. My blue cheese burger was cooked as ordered and the beer was cold. Liked the whole scene.
Also had two breakfasts at Chilly Billys (?). Again, not cheap but tasty and quick from the kitchen.
Going back for our second visit in June and are looking for a villa in Coral Bay, In the Stars and Great Turtle Villa are what we are down to. Would greatly appreciate any comments on these two villas.
