I start every Holiday season with Johnny Mathis; then wear out my 2 Manheim Steamroller Christmas CD's (hear they have a new one).
This year I added Kenny Chesney to the mix.
Oh and can't forgot - Grandma got run over by a Reindeer!

I really like my Jessica Simpson Christmas CD. Rosie O put out a couple of good ones too with various artists.

I took the family to see Dave Koz's Smooth Jazz Christmas concert last week. "Celebrate Me Home" was the final encore - it was a great show.
I love "Christmas Wrapping" but I'm the only one in my house that does.
"Very Special Christmas" is another of my favorites.

My all time favorite is "River" -- the original Joni Mitchell version of course, but I also like James Taylor's and almost any other version.
Second favorite is the entire Vince Guaraldi Trio's "Charlie Brown Christmas" -- in continuous rotation on our CD player right now. I never get tired of it!
Third favorite is "Some Children See Him" which always makes me a little choked up, especially James Taylor's version.
Aimee Mann has a good Christmas album with a funny version of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch".

That's one of my favorites, as far as the sentimental tunes go.
My favorite, though, is "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Reminds me of being a kid, and being happy with the little things. (Okay, sappy!) Martina McBride does it beautifully but I'll take just about anyone's rendition.
Also, I have never, until this thread, heard of The Waitresses. Is this because of my age? Or do I just live under a rock?

Not to worry, you don't live under a rock. The Waitresses are pretty much known just for this one song "Christmas Wrapping" which came out in the 80's. Their other song that got FM airplay was "I Know What Boys Like". I do like the bass line for "Christmas Wrapping" which most likely is derived from the famous bass line from "Rappers Delight" by The Sugarhill Gang.

Conventional - Nat King Cole's version of the Christmas Song ... you know Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire...
The entire James Taylor Christmas album. I think I got it at hallmark!
The soundtrack from Elf
I love Santa Baby ...
Oh I could go on and on. Wow, I may finally be feeling a little of the spirit. Thanks!

I just love all the traditional Christmas songs like "I'll Be Home For Christmas", "Chestnuts Roasting..", "It's Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas", and also the beautiful Christmas Carols like "Silent Night", "Joy To the World", "Hark The Herald Angels Sing" etc.

I'm a freak - I love Christmas music and listen to it all from Thanksgiving thru New Year's Eve. I listen to Channel 2 on Sirius in my car and play my XM on my TV at home and listen to the Holly station. Harry Connig Jr. is one of my favorites together with all the classics - Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Frank, etc.

Regarding pandora.com.....
It's really great at introducing me to new musicians. In fact, every time I go there it costs me at least twenty bucks.
Favorite Christmas songs of the moment.
Chrissie Hines - Have Yorself a Merry Little Christmas
James Taylor - Some Children See Him (Not so much hohohojolly, but beautiful)
King Obstinate - How Will Santa Get Here?
Fun thread!

As you've heard, we're getting into the White Christmas atmosphere here in New England - if you're not as fortunate, this might help -
