Just like flip-flop, we went to La Tapa a couple of times about 6-7 years ago and though the food was fine, we weren't that impressed. We haven't been back there since then. Honestly, I was a little surprised to read such rave reviews of La Tapa on this forum. Well, things may have changed in 7 years. I'm definitely trying La Tapa again for our next trip to St. John. Thank you, MB, for the report with great photos.

I am one of many who have been thoroughly enjoying your reports. More to come, right? Hope it's soon!

The trip reports will NEVER get boring. Your food pictures are making me want to eat a dozen places when we are there next. La Tapa was somewhere I had to beg Jason to eat and then he was very pleasantly surprised. That salad looks so good. Sorry to hear Calypso didn't work out.

More please!
Nicolle

I have really enjoyed your report and all of your pictures are beautiful. Are you the one that uses the Nikon D40? If so, have you taken classes or just experimented with it? Your photos are just wonderful.
Thanks for sharing!
