I saw the "Nice _ _ _ " t-shirts at the Jolly Dog store adjacent to Skinny Legs.

I guess you'd better go back and get one...

Hey Flip...great report! I really enjoyed every minute of it, and the pix! When I saw the one of Mr. Flip-Flop and the boy looking out the window of the ferry, I felt that all too familiar sinking in my midsection. You know the one, the realization that this is the last time you'll be on that body of water, looking at those lush green rolling hills of St. John, smelling that warm salt air....at least for a while anyway!

I'm afraid I have about 6 more months until I can be back there! That's why I enjoy the TR's so much, I guess. I get to go back (albeit through your eyes) much sooner!

Thanks again.....great stuff!

-Bert

Nicely done FF! What do you do for a living (or Mr. FF) to get all those frequent flier miles?? One of you must travel A LOT! Very cool though to get to STJ for $10/pp 8)

He never travels for work, I only travel about 3 or 4 times a year for work. Personal trips are another story.

What we do is use our delta skymiles american express for everything we possibly can. We rack up the miles fast. I pay it off every month so no interest. It is like getting free trips for nothing.

Thanks Flip-Flop!! I've learned & seen so much through your eyes. What a great family! Your children are precious. It seems like yesterday ours were that age....cherish every moment: they grow up so fast!
Thanks again for taking the time to post your tr. It's been wonderful taking the journey "with" y'all.

What can I say – I have really enjoyed your trip reports. Every step of the way, I felt that I was right there. It was a long wait – but the rewards were great. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your family and their experiences with us. May our paths cross sometime in the near future and if it happens to be on STJ – all the better. Thanks Flip Flop

Wonderful reports Flip-Flop; I've read them again and keep looking at all the terrific pictures. You make it easy for us to close our eyes and see St John. Your family is beautiful!!

What a wonderful report! I really enjoyed getting caught up.

I have that t-shirt too....it's what I was wearing that convinced John to book our October trip! Wear it often and maybe the magic will work for you too! :D
