I'll keep working on him though for '09.

Thats a bummer Msgcolleen; but the important thing is that you are going back!!

For others, here are a few more villas to look at (well some are listed for drooling purposes only).

My current count is 13; but I think we're still waiting for Chrisn.

That Hawksview looks pretty darn nice. That one is just for drooling, I'm afraid. I wish I hadn't even looked at it. But there are quite a few others that would work. We have lots of options. :D
The main thing is to get a head count so we know if we need one large villa or 2 smaller ones.

I think I could stay in one of those.

Actually, it looks like a couple of those might be realistic possibilities. There were some mentioned earlier that looked good too! Great job with the options girls!
If we have a need for 10 person villas, I may have a few suggestions to throw in. :D

I've been looking at the villa's this morning. I am so ready to go!! I agree that we need it high enough up for the breezes. That is one thing we liked about our place in Coral Bay last Dec. the awesome breeze that came through. And it wasn't really that high up.

Question - what is the name of the agency that charges another 5% on top of the villa rental amount? I for one would like to stay away from them if possible. I see no reason to pay over and above the rental amount.

And, when we get ready to book jeeps, I'll put one on my Amex. We used Bougainvillea last Dec. and I thought they were great to use. They just asked that we fill in up and brush the sand out of it and that they would clean it further upon our return. We didn't need to wash it or anything like that. They had nice rubber mats in the back and all of the floor boards, so it was easy to keep clean.

Happy Sunday ?OTBers!!!

Thnx Waterguy. I guess I didn't look at it that way and that would be a great way to see any pricing differences. I still don't like the idea of paying that though.

I think I'd like to move in. :D

I don't think it has a hot tub and the pool will most likely be chilly at that elevation. It's also a long was from town. We need to decide if that's important.
But it is a beautiful villa and views to die for.!!!

I'm watching this thread with envy!

Just a thought when it comes to making your villa payments with multiple people: you could see if the owners/managers will send invoices via PayPal. That's how my group is paying (granted, we have 3 families, not 12+ individuals). I just figured out how much each person owes, then sent the owners the numbers and email addresses. The owners sent PayPal invoices, we all get credit card miles, everyone's happy! With PayPal they don't have to take your credit card numbers, exp. dates, etc. They just need your email address and maybe your name.

Have fun looking at villas!

Thnx chicagoans...Paypal is a good idea. I just used paypal for the first time the other day for ordering from a company for a x-mas present. That was the only option on the website and it worked, I had my product within 4 days.
