Beautiful place! Congratulations for following your dreams - it certainly has paid off.

I'll definitely consider Reef Madness for a future trip. We just booked other villas for Feb and May 2008 so maybe 2009. Looks like you're shifting a lot of us Forumites to the 'other' side of the island.

I have to admit I check the blog daily. I did the same with Bongo. As a contractor that is likely to be living in the islands soon I have had alot of fun and learned alot reading both of them. The house looks like it turned out great. Enjoy the home. It looks like from your booking calender that the rentals are going well.

Hey, am I the only one who got goosebumpy and teary-eyed reading Randy's post? Or laughed at loud at the blog photo of him in the pool?!!

I knew it would turn out OK, but I'm glad it finally happened. Marcia and Randy deserve the best things to happen to them from now on.

I'm thinking about planning a trip to Coral Bay. Maybe one week at Reef Madness and one week at Blue Caribe. Of course, I'll have to pack a lot more carefully than when we stay in Chocolate Hole.

Take the road across the street from the firehouse and head right up to the top. The road is the one that looks like new concrete with some switch backs. Its just about the exact center of the image. It is on top of a ridge with a great view. The road is very good and easy to navigate.

Cheers, RickG

top of elbow, or in the bare spot?

Rick- Thanks, so if I go up the switchback road past the white hexagonal looking building and come to the next intersection, I would go straight, correct? And then Reef is at the top of that elbow, or is it around that next switchback in that space that looks bare in this photo? ...Just want to get it right so I can post the Google Earth placemark and it will be correct...Thanks!

Randy has been updating the Reef Madness blog regularly again and it's pretty amusing.

As a follow up to my post above (I know - shameless post counter), the following, from the Washington Post, was no doubt not only read by Randy and Marcia - they probably have made a plaque of it, framed it, and hung it in their living room.

Here is the Washington Post's Mensa Invitational which once again asked readers to take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or changing one letter, and supply a new definition.

The winners are:

1. Cashtration (n.): The act of buying a house, which renders the subject financially impotent for an indefinite period of time.
