Hi Coden - dug out my Sea Drops last night - they DO NOT have the ingredients listed - I was shocked. I went to the website of the company that makes them, and no info there either...must be some really secret ingredients! Here the website if you want to check it out http://www.mcnett.com/

Thanks Sunflower for checking for me and for providing the website. I found the techinal page for Sea Drops but like you say, there are no ingredients. I'm sure it is the same stuff, just packaged under different names.

Some more information to add to this topic...

Sea Gold is another top rated anti-fog brand. We used this last year with excellent results, but we don't have much experience with other brands so we can't compare. We certainly thought it was more effective then spit, which was our old method.

Sea Drops were my old method, but I kept leaving the little bottles on the beach. So now I use spit. It's portable and always with you! Bottom line is buy the sea drops, sea gold, windex or whatever, but no worries if you don't; spit is a good contingency plan. Nuff said about spit, now.

Thanks again for all of the help. I think I'm good with what I have and if not them we'll get something else while on STJ.

Oh,I did try to spit in mine, but it didn't work, I guess I didn't have enough spit, or something! I think my main problem was I probably put too much on, and then didn't rinse it off enough. Plus I'm sure I got suntan lotion in my eyes...better luck next time for me. I'm sure it is a work in process kind of thingy!

Hey Calgirl - I did like them, and they worked well, and were very easy to get on and off. But you know what, I realized that I really like to swim with my feet nekkid!!

My booties worked good in them, too and I can't imagine having fins on and no booties. It is a totally different feel.

I have all of my new snorkel stuff all packed and ready to go to STJ...the countdown is on!!!

Buying your mask online can be a little risky since it needs to fit your face to prevent leakage. We've bought our mask online with good results, but maybe we got lucky with the fit.

Several years ago the manager of Ti Kaye Resort on St. Lucia gave me the secret (dishwashing soap--not/not dishwasher soap like Cascade.) Tiny little bottle, just use a teeny amount on a fingertip and apply to the inside of the mask. Rinse, and swim. Works great for hours. I carry the little bottle in my mask pouch, but got searched three times at Washington National because I forgot I had it. TSA totally unpacked my carryon, but never found the bottle. (On the trip back the bottle fit nicely in the regulation quart-size baggy.)

Our masks are prescriptions from Phillips RX Safety. The mask is a Tusa mask.
