Great pictures. Thanks for sharing your trip. I too like the night shot of Wharfside Village with the moon in the background. Looks like you had a fantastic trip. You all looked very relaxed.

OK Jim.........I've been waiting to be really critiqued by a pro.

This is so much harder than it looks and I took so many bad pictures and can find so many faults with the ones I like. It's like hanging wallpaper.....you see every mistake.
But thanks for your encourging words. I am determined to get better.

Great pics! How awesome to have spent that time with your daughter and her friend. With my daughter and son going off to college next year, I cherish every second I get to spend with them. Thanks for sharing. Ali~

I woke up today with the "my baby leaves for college this week" blues. I'm about to cry and this is her second year away. I'm such a shmuck.

We leave Thurs. with her 4-Runner pulling a U-Haul to Texas Tech. That's only about a 10 hr. drive. Another
It was a great vacation, I just wish it wasn't over.
But now I have SOTB to look forward to.

I am with you. My husband took my nephew back to college over the weekend and I am sadder this year than I was last year (his first year). I guess because he was literally at my house EVERY day. Oh well, at least the cupboards will be full

I did say to my husband while bouncing the 6mo old on my lap, "If I am this sad about our nephew going back to college, imagine me in 17 years or so" ... he didn't want to go there.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Vicki, one thing I'm having trouble with is getting my colors to really pop. I've tried different filters and sometimes my shots look washed out. I'm just using trial and error with all the modes, but I'm not too sure of myself. I've certainly learned where the delete button is located.
If anyone has any advice, I'm all ears. Sometimes I think it may be the time of day and where the sun is in the sky and all that kind of natural stuff, but I'm sure it's mainly the operator.
