Linne- Your reports are truly charming. Thank you for taking the time.

I love that you call a Painkiller "The Painkiller." Indeed it is. :)

Hello again!

Thank you again for your nice comments. Yes ,Cara Mia is a pretty house, Xislandgirl, but I think it was very big for two people. They had both houses. Could be away for each other. Liamsaunt: Glad to know the name of the fish, I couldn’t find it in my book, think it was nearly like a little shark. LandLockedBeachLover: I really like if people can have a good laugh. So fine that you understand what my purpose was with the 2 pictures.

But it was not on purpose that I wrote THE painkiller, LMG. I must have been obsessed very much of this drink, because it really killed my pain the first time I had it. I laugh so the tears run down on my cheek, when you had me to realize what I have written.

Linne,
I have really enjoyed Parts One, Two and Three. I can't wait for more.
But you have to tell me this:
How much IS the postage for a postcard to Europe? Did you ever find out?

Linne, I love your reports! The style is perfect! I can hear your accent as I read. It sounds like me in the morning....do I really want to leave my beautiful view to go anywhere but a beach? The answer is usually NO! I can't wait for your next installment.

Linne - I love your reports too! It's funny to see you use some slang words like "downer". And you used it perfectly! I also understood that you meant something else when you wrote "bored". You don't make many errors, and if you do, we can fill in the blanks pretty well. Keep on writing! I can't wait to hear how the Reef Bay hike turns out!

Did I tell you I saw your name in the sand on the webcam? That was cool! :D
Is there a special spirit on STJ?
Linne "gets it"!

Ruth:
As far as I can remember the postage for a postcard was 68, but I’m not quit sure. And of course I don’t know if Connection in Coral Bay or the post office in
Cruz Bay are right- but I think it’s Connection!

California Girl:
Yes, a couple of days after we returned, I found your topic about seeing me on the Webcam, showed it to hb and said: Look! Somebody from the Forum remember me and want me to write a trip report- you see, I have to use time to do it! I haven’t answered you because I knew that I would tell it in my report. At this time I wasn’t aware that it would take me such a long time to write. My intention was that I only would post 1 topic about the whole trip. But when I started to write, I began to think: Perhaps it also could be interesting for the Forum members, who mainly are Americans, to read about your thoughts as a Scandinavian being on the islands? And so it developed to be such a long story. Of course I cannot know if people are interested. Many have seen my topic, but I don’t know if they really read it, or just close it at once. So I’m glad for the comments I have received, where I can see, that some of you must have read the whole story. Not so that I’m only doing it for your sake. It’s also for my own. Hopefully I will improve my English! As you know I make mistakes and I speak with “accent” (could be so funny to know how some of you can “hear” that). And I have to tell that my spoken English isn’t so good as my written. No dictionary when you speak, and no spelling control telling if I have written, ”were” instead of “was”. But I don’t mind, if I give people a good laugh caused my mistakes, but I’m embarrassed about the case with “bored”. Glad to hear that you also knew what I meant.

Linne,

I am engrossed in your reports. Agree with the others on the forum who can "hear" you speaking. Your reports are delightful. I will never be "bored" with them. :D

Linne....believe me, nobody is laughing at what you call "mistakes".

I find myself scanning the threads every morning and hoping to find the newest installment from "Linne". Your reports are so irresistibly real and captivating.

Thank you for taking the time to share your adventures with us...mia

Linne, just spent some quiet time reading your reports. I enjoy the way you express your feelings, and your honesty, and your sense of humor. Tell me there is more to come! Are you ever going to have that smoothie?
