I'll oust myself and say that was me that posted that about the BVI police officers. It was actually in Tortola. When my husband and I met that officer it was an ironic thing cause we're from New Jersey and this officer was born and raised in West Orange, NJ. Cool thing too - the police in the BVI don't carry weapons.

I thought that it was a very interesting concept since the islands are way too small. Having some friends who are police officers, I could see in a very small town like the islands, its easy to turn a blind eye...
